Description
This is Mercury Records SR90254, Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique Paray DSO, a deep groove, maroon label colored back, original stereo issue of this beautiful recording with FR1/5 in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly but with some light background audible at the beginning of side 2 and infrequent light ticks. The laminated cover is excellent and intact. The labels have a name in marker but are otherwise excellent. An original inner sleeve is included.The record was cleaned ultrasonically and on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful recording.
