Description

INCREDIBLY SCARCE LP from the early 1950's of the late Bernard Greenhouse performing BACH Suites 2 and 4 for unaccompanied Cello.  In 40 years of collecting I have NEVER seen another copy of this LP.  The vinyl used for this record (on the Renaissance Label,  X-16) is not of a very high quality, even for 1950, the year it was issued.  However, the condition is astonishing considering its age and the disc is completely free of any skips or major scratches.  All the color and nuance of Greenhouse's tasteful and intelligent interpretations are evident.  An important document by an important musician and advocate for the cello.  FREE SHIPPING to anywhere.  No BIDS accepted from anyone with less than 10 feedbacks.  Payment REQUIRED within 3 days of invoice.  Thanks for looking and good luck to all bidders.
