Various – The Good Old Days... (Music Hall Vinyl LP Record) (1967)
From The Famous City Varieties Music Hall Leeds, As Presented On BBC Television.
Very good British gatefold release.
Music to this the original TV-music hall soundtrack conducted by British maestro Bernard Herrmann and performed by a section of the BBC Northern Dance Orchestra.
Condition
Vinyl: VG. Wonderfully clean on visual inspection. Just a few scuffs on side B. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Some light static in places and very low surface noise. Overall, a decent listening experience to this unusual music hall album.
Outer sleeve / Cover: VG. Superb laminated outer gatefold. Some bubble pockets and signs of beginnings of delamination. However, spine and edges are generally very clean and unworn. Just light wear to top and bottom of spine with some discolouration. Corners are very lightly dented and rubbed. Aperture shows mild wear. Reverse outer gate is clean and glossy. Inner gatefold with tracklist info is unmarked. All flipbacks are attached and show only light discolouration. Overall superb.
Inner sleeve: VG. Off-white paper with angled corners. Major folding/creasing in one corner. Otherwise undamaged. Intact.
