Bernard Herrmann Vertigo Soundtrack LP Japan 1976 Obi Import.
This record is in collectible condition grading somewhere between NM- and VG++. Visual inspection indicates very few plays over its 46 year life with all of its gloss, one small scuff in the dead wax on side two and perfect spindles and labels.
The sleeve has some tiny dog-earring on the corners (see pics) from years of storage otherwise it looks like new. It has its original insert which is in Japanese that has liner notes and track listings on one side and the FDX series catalog on the other.
One of the things that made Hitchcock’s movies so riveting with audiences was the music and the sound track to Vertigo is no exception. Originally released in 1958, this 1976 Japanese reissue adds a bit of collectible staying power to this powerful work with its original obi strip intact and excellent overall condition.
