Description


This is the rare original 1956 French issue of Bertice Reading “Jazz Singer” on BAM LD 321.  The deep-groove flat rim pressing is in excellent condition, with just a single inaudible scuff; superb fidelity. The thin coated cover is clean throughout; light stain over Reading right shoulder.  Reading was an American-born jazz and blues singer/actress who died in 1993 at the age of 57.

 

Personnel include Art Simmons, Terry Donahue, Bill Crow, and Dave Bailey.
