Description
This is Chess Records LP 1427, The Best Of Muddy Waters, a black label with silver print original mono issue of this classic record. The record is in VG++ condition showing one light mark on side 2 track 1 (which does not effect the play), keeping it from being near mint. The record plays quietly throughout. Remarkable condition (the best I've ever seen) for this record. The front cover is superb but the back cover shows some light discoloration (perhaps a bit of water damage) but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show only light spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this rare record.
