This is the jewel of my record collection.  I've owned this beautiful original US pressing for about 7 years.
* Deep groove (DG) mono pressing on the black Chess label from 1957
* Delta (triangle) symbol in the dead wax on both sides
Jacket is absolutely gorgeous.  Front cover is super clean with full color, and great contrast between the very bright white lettering and the black background.  There is a tiny area between the two "D"s in "Muddy" where the pasted on cover sheet has a bit of an air bubble.  There is also a small crease just above Muddy's ear, and a small corner bump, bottom left.  All seams super strong.  Rear jacket is very bright white, and is the best I've seen of an original Chess jacket from the 1950's.  There is a factory stamp "CA 312" just above LP-1427 in the top left corner.  There is a small corner bump, bottom right.  Overall, an outstanding example.
Record has some fine needle marks and a tiny pressing bump on "Louisiana Blues".  Overall play grade on Side 1 is VG+(+).  Some parts play VG++.  The pressing bump causes some soft sounds.  Play grade for Side 2 is VG+.  Some parts play VG, some parts play VG+(+).  There are some soft clicks, and in certain passages there is more surface noise.  The music plays with strong fidelity.  No groove distortion.  But there is surface noise and some pops/clicks.  This is 1957 Chess vinyl, so surface noise exists, but is less prominent on "I Can't Be Satisfied".  Side 1 plays a little quieter than Side 2.
Jacket grade: just below NM.  It would be extremely difficult to find a better original jacket.  It's not perfect, but it's possibly about as good as can be expected given that most surviving copies of this record have quite worn jackets.
Record visual grade: VG+
Record play grade: VG+(+) on Side 1; VG+ on Side 2.   Cleaned on my Clearaudio Matrix record cleaner and placed in a fresh Japanese inner sleeve.  All LPs listed are from my personal collection.
