YOU ALL SEEM TO BE ENJOYING MY CURRENT REGGAE LP AUCTIONS, SO WE WILL KEEP GOING A LITTLE LONGER!! This is an original 1978 Jamaica press TR International / State Line label LP titled 'The Best Of Ranking Joe', featuring ten tracks from reggae man Ranking Joe. It is TR International / State Line Records catalog number TR 7661. See the accompanying images for more information, please e-mail me if you need matrix numbers. Backing musicians are not listed on the album cover. Tracks: Mr. Fennigan, John Never Saw Them, Them Gone Back Stabbing, Natty B M W, Never Get Away, Travelling Natty, Loving Natty, Sata-Masa-Gana, Natty Step It In The Country, Woman Of Sameria. Visual condition of record is a real nice high VG++ with just a very few light visible surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play. There is a small slightly rough area in the vinyl play surface at the very end of the last track on Side 2, this is a slight pressing defect which causes some background surface noise toward the end of that track. Otherwise record plays though nicely with a little bit of surface noise. Labels have no real problems. Condition of cover is a real nice VG++/NM- with the original shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover, and with the only minor flaws being a little bit of contact wear and wear along the open edge and on the open corners as can be seen in the accompanying image. A choice addition to any Jamaica press reggae record collection!
