Description
The Beatles / Rock 'N' Roll Music – EMI/Capitol Records SKBO-11537 (1976)(US) ...This auction is for an original issue, sealed Double Record that has been out of print for some time.
Given the title (Rock & Roll Music) and focus of the collection, a lot of the emphasis on this double-LP set was on the group's pre-psychedelic period; it also emphasized -- more than anything seen from them since 1965 -- their joyous renditions of other songwriters' work, especially old rock & roll standards like "Long Tall Sally," "Slow Down," "Dizzie Miss Lizzie," "Twist & Shout," etc., which had been a significant part of their output before their in-house songwriting came to dominate their recordings.
Contains the following 28 tracks: (Record 1) (Side 1) Twist and Shout, I Saw Her Standing There, You Can't Do That, I Wanna Be Your Man, I Call Your Name , Boys, Long Tall Sally (Record 1) (Side 2) Rock N Roll Music, Slow Down, Kansas City, Money, Bad Boy, Matchbox, Roll Over Beethoven (Record 2) (Side 1) Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Any Time At All, Drive My Car, Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby, The Night Before, I'm Down, Revolution (Record 2) (Side 2) Back In The U.S.S.R., Helter Skelter, Taxman, Got To Get You Into My Life, Hey Bulldog, Birthday, Get Back
