Description
I'm gonna list this as new even though it is opened. Mint vinyl, mint Jacket, still in shrink wrap. Never played. 1966 record put out by a local Detroit club that had all the best garage bands of the time. The Pleasure Seekers had a very young Suzi Quatro. Doug Brown and the Omens had a young Bob Seger before he went out on his own. Seger and Brown collaborated on Ballad of the Yellow Beret. Check the writing credits on the Underdogs song Get Down on Your Knees. The Yorkshires, the Henchmen and 4 Of Us. This is Garage Heaven. I think they were all studio versions, not live, possibly recorded on local Punch Records. My understanding is that this is incredibly rare and even a reissue is considered rare. I don't know which this is, but it's one of the most exceptional records I ever found. And yes, I found it in Michigan. Free shipping within the US.
