Description

Blue and silver label, mono. Kenney sings 12 tunes with a group led by Jimmy Jones, piano. The group includes Eddie Jones, bass; Jo Jones, drums, Freddie Green, Guitar; Joe Newman, trumpet; Frank Wess, tenor sax, flute. Cover photo by Chuck Stewart. Kenney was an extraordinary , modern jazz vocalist. This is a perfect blend with these Basie All Stars. Cover VG+ 1" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. A few small pieces of aging scotch tape on the spine,. This may be an attempt to protect the spine from fraying rather than a split. A small partial record ring on the front cover. This is rather light and does not appear to be a complete circle. Light aging on the back cover. Gloss finished front cover. Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Some minor very short, light clicks. barely audible. No surface noise. Has unplayed appearance with no surface markings. Fine, collectible condition.
