Big Boy Edwards on Melotone 7-07-59 in "E+" condition. Noted contributor and co-editor of Vintage Jazz Mart magazine, Russell Shor, has stated that Big Boy Teddy Edwards is "ludicrously bad". We heartily disagree. We think Big Boy Teddy is great. We think he is tremendous. His rendition here of the great blues rocker tune "Louise" is ample evidence of his vocal brilliance. His fantastic rendition of "Dancing the Blues Away" on Vocalion, which seems to be one of the rarest blues records in the world, is a total masterpiece. In any case, all Big Boyl Teddy's are quite scarce, and this one is a beautiful copy.
