You are bidding on a original pressing copy of the Big Boys - Fun Fun Fun 12" EP released by Moment Records in 1982. This is BB-001. This is an original pressing copy, not the recent reissue! This record came out of the collection of a central Texas music fan, known to many musicians/fellow music lovers, who tragically lost his life late last year. He frequently attended concerts and shows here in central Texas and elsewhere. He enjoyed meeting musicians and liked to get their autographs, such as this record. It has been signed by all four band members! Biscuit's signature can be found on the back of the jacket, and the other signatures can be found on the front of the jacket (see pictures). All signatures are signed in blue pen. The record is in VG+ condition. The record labels are in VG+ condition. The record jacket is in VG condition with some shelfwear and edgewear. There are a few light creases along the spine of the jacket (all of which are an inch or less in length) as well as few more along the top and bottom seams of the jacket. This copy has the original lyrics insert, which is in VG condition. There are a few other items we found inside the jacket which we are selling with this record: there are two flyers for the Big Boys/MDC/Fudge Tunnel show which took place here in Austin at the Soap Creek Saloon on March 5, 1983 as well as a promo poster for the Fun Fun Fun 12"! The flyers and poster have been folded once in the middle of each. One flyer is in VG condition and the other one is in VG- condition and has tears on all four corners. The promo poster is in VG condition and has old tape residue on the back of it on all four corners, as well as one small pin hole near the upper lefthand corner. Special shipping notice: As of July 28th, 2013, we are no longer offering shipping to Italy due to continued problems with packages getting to their proper destination in a timely basis (if at all!). We are sorry we have to do this, but unfortunately we have seen a recent spike in the amount of packages being shipped to Italy that have either gone missing entirely or have taken excessively long to reach their destination.
We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:
Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!
Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.
Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.
Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally still a great playing copy. jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.
Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.
Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches. jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
