Description

Big Joe Turner - Rockin' the Blues 1958 Atlantic 8023. Beautiful condition!! Cover has a small "SS" in pencil on back cover bottom right, and a faint reddish stamp, also on back cover near top, left of center, but the sheen and high gloss are still present and this is still one of the prettiest original Atlantic covers from this era I've seen!! Covers from Atantic around this time are notoriously too tight for the records and almost always have seem splits, but this one does not (nor does the other Turner LP I have for auction at this time). When I pulled the record out, it was still in the original sleeve and looks like it's never seen a stylus!!  It is just gorgeous!! The labels have no spindle marks whatsoever!! This (and the other Turner I'm auctioning) would be a worthy addition to any high end record collection. It's not perfect (the cover anyway) but it's definitely one of the best I've ever seen in 30+ years of collecting.
I will ship this overseas, but only by shipping methods that allow me to track the package. If it cannot be tracked I will not ship, PERIOD. Also note, I will not send as gift or lower the value on the customs form, and the shipping cost will also include insurance for the full amount of the winning bid.
