Big Joe Williams LP Piney Woods Blues (77 Records, 77LA1219 UK 1963) NM/EX
On 77-Records (Cat: 77LA1219) UK vinyl LP 1963 from Delmark recordings in USA.
The record sound quality is impressive with just 2 clicks and 2 or 3 crackles on the whole album, and no jumps. Hence the play-graded LP gets NEAR MINT rating. The cover is a fine example, and was easily graded EXCELLENT. See my descriptions below.
The record labels are clean & have no writing – there is a sticker on side B – see photos. The playing surfaces showed up no problems from visual inspection. The record was play graded and plays almost like new – with just 2 clicks and 2 or 3 crackles on the whole album, and no jumps. Record is graded NEAR MINT.
The cover is a flip-back with a laminated finish on both front and rear.
There is very little in the way of blemishes to write about – a faint impression of the disc on the front and rear, and on the front, a corner crease near the upper open edge. The rear has one crease near the spine approx. 1.5-inches long. Edges and spine are clean and free from wear marks. All round, a clean sharp-edged cover, easily graded EXCELLENT.

PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer. Records are placed in a new white polythene-lined inner sleeve, and packed separately from the record company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record(s) and cover are then placed in a pvc sleeve for extra protection.
