Big Star’s brilliant # 1 Record US authentic 1972 Ardent Records ADS 2803 (distributed by Stax) first pressing promo still sealed Record comes from a radio station collection.
Brilliant and most sought after first outing from Chris, Alex, Andy and Jody. This is one of those records that slipped through the cracks due to poor promotion and distribution it had a cult following (especially amongst musicians) and rediscovered in the 80’s and once again in the 90’s and for one good reason.....It’s an incredible record! Billboard Magazine at the time said “Every cut could be a single” and Record World called it “One of the best albums of the year”.
Since the record is still sealed it grades at least Near Mint.
The still sealed record cover grades Excellent it does have a promo hole punch as it was a radio station find (see scans).
I've been collecting records for over 54 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
