Description
This is an UNPLAYED copy of the original 1978 PVC 8903 LP Big Star 3rd (aka Third and later, Sister Lovers). This has all the Discogs specs: "First official release in 1978. Cover and inner sleeve refer to the album "3rd". Spine and label refer to the album as "Third". Liner text begins on back of jacket and ends on the inner sleeve. Printed on the other side of the inner sleeve: the poem “The Flood” by J.F.K Knifebender (© 1978 J. F. K. Knifebender). Original has the black and white photo cover as opposed to the later reissue with black and blue cover. On back cover: Printed in USA. On label: Made in U.S.A.(Side A runout, etched exc. 'STERLING'): PVC-7903-A STERLING HUB; (Side B runout, etched): PVC 7903-B HUB". This is indeed the real deal which I bought when it was release. The disc itself has NEVER been played and looks it---very crisp and clean. The cover shows some wear from being amongst other albums---see pictures---sleeve has very slight corner rounding but no tears, seam splits or other damage. Many of these are cut outs but this is not. This is a gem of a copy! Media Mail in US $5.50; International rates to be determined.
