Unbelievably rare original PVC 1978 issue with inner sleeve.
The vinyl: I am grading the vinyl as VG overall, even though both sides conservatively play VG+. Sound is phenomenal!! Side 1 is PLAY graded as NM - nearly dead quiet. Side 2 is VG+ with just a hint of surface noise evident during a couple of quiet passages - very close to NM. HOWEVER, the vinyl itself has little visible "white spots" on both sides when you tilt it sideways under the light (see pics). These spots do NOT impact the sound, however they are visible and there's a bunch of 'em. My best guess is that it is some type of vinyl rot, but that is totally a guess. Maybe someone washed it way back when and put it back in the sleeve while still wet - who knows? I ran it through the VPI and the spots didn't come out. Maybe an ultrasonic cleaning would help - again, who knows? To reiterate, they do NOT negatively impact the sound, but I'm knocking the overall grade down to VG because, well, I think they're ugly!! LOL
The cover: Strong VG to Weak VG+. Some light creases and overall light, general wear. Light sticker residue on upper left corner. Inner sleeve is in great shape.
$5 shipping to US only via USPS Media. Record will be put in a new mobile fidelity inner sleeve and stored outside of the cover to prevent seam splits. It will also be mailed in an Acoustic Sounds mailing box with extra foam inserts for additional protection.
