Description

This is Volume 1 of Complete Third: Demos to Sessions to Roughs - a 2LP set on Omnivore released in 2016.
The good news - the album is beautiful - the tracks are amazing and inspiring and sound great throughout.
The not so good news - Omnivore have notoriously hit and miss luck with pressings however well they are recorded. In this case the pressing itself has some surface noise here and there - mainly between tracks so it's not too intrusive.
Honestly I think you are better off being a pre-owned copy like this knowing that the pressing has some issues but is pretty good, than taking a chance on a sealed copy that sounds a lot worse.
I wanted to be honest and have been - overall this set still sounds amazing and plays very well - I am probably exaggerating the few bits of surface noise but would rather so that than disappoint.
Records owned from new and cleaned on my Okki Nokki cleaning machine and only played a couple of times.
