Description

2011 Record Store Day exclusive release of Big Star Third.  This box set is still sealed and is one of 2,000 released worldwide.  Pressed on 180Gram vinyl and cut from the the original analog assembly reel, on the same lathe that cut the 1975 test pressing, by the orig engineer in the same mastering room at Ardent Studios in Memphis.

Added possible bonus....5 of the 2,000 releases were selected at random and had original test pressings inserted.  ONE COULD BE IN HERE!

Box contains replicas of the tracking sheets, lead sheets and mastering card.

The box is a replica of the master tape box.

This is truely and great collector item.  More record co's need to put this much love into special releases.
