Description
Although creative tensions, haphazard distribution, and marketplace indifference conspired to ensure Big Star's brief existence and commercial failure, the group's three studio albums nevertheless remain unqualified classics, and their impact on subsequent generations of indie bands on both sides of the Atlantic is surpassed only by that of The Velvet Underground. Ardent Records April (!) 1972. Disc has only light superficial wear, vgc. Sturdy US sleeve is mint, still in original US shrink-wrap.

CONDITION OF DISCS I am not a dealer, not motivated by profit. I am a music fan, just like you. I chiefly want this great stuff to go to good homes, irrespective of price. That is why I cut postage to the bone. I cannot comment on the playing qualities of every disc. I last played many of them decades ago. I expected my discs to be enjoyably playable when I picked one to put on the turntable. Now I select them to post. I try to give an accurate account of what I see. This the basis on which all used records are sold by anybody. I am as experienced as anyone in England at judging a record visually. At the starting price of £0.99, and up, I would buy any of these again.
