This is the classic Big Star 3rd/Sisters Lovers Record Store Day limited edtion version.
If you're reading this, you probably know exactly what you're buying, so I won't list all the details (feel free to contact me if you do want the details).

I've listed it as 'used', because, as a fan, I couldn't leave it there unopened. I had to open it with the excitment of Charlie Bucket, hoping that this would be one of the lucky few with the original test pressings in...
I can save you the disappointment - it isn't.

I have only played it once. My record player doesn't play at the right speed any more, so I will be using the money to buy the CD version, regrettably.

There is a live performance of the album at the Barbican, London on 28 May with Jody Stephens and a stellar line-up. If you haven't got tickets, there aren't many left - hurry up! I never got to see Big Star or Alex Chilton live, and I'm gutted I can't make the gig. I bought two tickets on the day they came out and then realised it clashes with my honeymoon! It was a close-run thing, but the honeymoon took precedence.
So if it's sold out by the time you read this - I may still have two stalls tickets that I could post out with the record if desired.

Anyway, I digress.
