Auction is for Bikini Kill “Pussy Whipped” Lp Original 1993 UK Press on WiiijA label. WIJ028V there is a small “made in England” sticker on the back of the album cover. The album also comes with the original lyric insert. The record is in excellent condition and the cover and insert are in VG+ condition. (A few minor smudges on label and some tiny flaws around the hole although the record looks like it has never been played, the album cover has a small bent corner on lower right and a tiny tic mark on rim). Bikini Kill was an American punk rock band formed in Olympia, Washington, in October 1990. The group consisted of singer and songwriter Kathleen Hanna, guitarist Billy Karren, bassist Kathi Wilcox, and drummer Tobi Vail. The band is widely considered to be the pioneer of the riot grrrl movement, and was known for its radical feminist lyrics and fiery performances. Their music is characteristically abrasive and hardcore-influenced. After two full-length albums, several EPs and two compilations, they disbanded in 1997.
