Notes

Recorded at Reeves Sound Studio in New York December 1958.
Small blue label, deep groove, 'Everybody Digs Bill Evans' in italic letter.

COVER The cover is G/G+, spine damage + shelf wear marks too (see photos)
VINYL There is surface noise on this record.  There are a few clicks too.  There are several clicks on Peace Piece, which as luck would have it is a very quiet track.  VG-/G+  The clicks are quick and come from thin scratches.

Ver. 2.3 GRADING SCALE - RECORDS **VISUAL** New Record sealed in shrink wrap / sold 'as is' NM Appears unplayed and has no visible  marks or scratches. VG++ May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.   VG+ A few visible imperfections. These can include light scratches, or other superficial marks.   VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above don't  have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  Some scratches may be audible but are not loud. VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  Some scratches are audible and may be loud. G Many imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.  Scratches are audible but record will play without skips.         GRADING SCALE - RECORDS **AUDIBLE** NM No noise from scratches.   VG+ No more than three light clicks per side VG Slight sufrace noise; only a few light scratches and/or pops G clicks are audible on most tracks; no skips, clicks last only a few revolutions; does not interfere with listening pleasure     GRADING SCALE - COVERS New Sealed in shrink wrap VG May have scuffs on one or both sides; contact wear on one or more seams; Max of two seam splits less than 2" acceptable.  No stains but discoloration permitted.   G More scuffs than VG; seams have more wear which may render the spine printing unreadable.  Seam splits of around 2" are permitted on any seam.  Stains are permitted. G- Looks pretty beat up; seams are heavily worn and/or split.  Stains are on one or both sides.  Buyer pays shipping for returns.  I do my best to give accurate descriptions.   If you feel I've 'misgraded' a record, please contact me.  Thanks!
