Description
Up for auction is Bill Evans 'Portrait in Jazz', Electric Recording Co (ERC) vinyl 33 1/3 RPM stereo LP NEW MINT Sealed, catalog # ERC052S. Condition is "New".
This is a sealed copy of the very limited run Electric Recording Co reissue of Bill Evan's classic 1960 Riverside title 'Portrait in Jazz', stereo, with serial # 226 of only 300 made. As per discogs, this reissue was cut in stereo using a 1950's Lyrec TR18 tape console, Ortofon GOS valve amplifiers, Lyrec SV8 cutting lathe, and Ortofon cutter head DSS731, all done from the original analog master tapes. Only removed from the outer shipping box to determine the serial number, with inner ERC standard layered packing with factory shrink remaining intact as shown. A couple of stock photos of the contents - the ERC Portrait in Jazz inner packaging, jacket and record - are included in the pics for reference. All contents are factory sealed and presumed mint, no returns on opening of shrink wrapped contents.
Will be packed up back in the original box, then double boxed over that, and shipped $10.00 flat rate with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery to the lower 48 states. Any additional shipping for other destinations will be determined at end of auction.
