Bill Evans Portrait in Jazz US Riverside RLP 12-315
Eight months after his successful collaboration with Miles Davis on the album Kind of Blue, Evans recorded Portrait in Jazz with a new group (the Bill Evans Trio) that helped change the direction of modern jazz. A US mono pressing on the Riverside Label (RLP 12-315 stampers R1), the labels are blue and silver with a small “tape” logo.. The record has some minor scuffs and the vinyl has some greyish patches and is otherwise eof very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with some surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little with asmall ding and split at the bottom right-hand corner and is in very good condition.
