This mono LP record was released by Riverside Records RLP 399 in 1961...this record is on the Riverside Deep Groove blue label with silver print with the microphone logo at the top..."VAN GELDER" is etched into the trail-off on both sides of the record.
Bill Evans (piano) is featured with Scott LaFaro (bass) and Paul Motian (drums). These tracks were recorded live at The Village Vanguard in New YOrk City in June 1961.
