Who/What: Bill Haley & Comets Shake Rattle Roll Decca 10 Inch 33.3 RPM SCARCE Above Average shape. The jacket is in great shape with no split seams. There is no inner sleeve--record will be shipped in bubble wrap; jacket wrapped similarly. Record is being sold as a collectible not as a fidelity recording--there will likely be some noise if played. While the record retains luster, it may not play perfectly on your player--this is just a reality that exists. During my tenure as record store manager, many people swore up and down the record skipped on their player at home but when played in store, the record did not skip. I let them pick out that same record again. This 33.3 RPM is one of a kind so that is not an option.. If you are fanatical about this, please consider this viewpoint. Box 110217

Condition: This is always tricky but I believe this record is above average and retains shininess-although there are many surface markings. I can feel one tiny mark with my fingernail on the Thirteen Women track--may pop there. The condition of the label is another indicator while not perfect that can still tell us a lot about how the record was treated or in some instances, how many times is was played. Has some surface marks and surface scuffs. Please look at photos carefully--they may help you make a decision. Visually graded. A magnifier tool should appear when you run your mouse pointer over the surface of the enlarged image and it will magnify that portion of the record. Packaging: Great care is always taken when packaging any of my items but especially 78 RPM records. The record will be shipped in a box with record wrapped in bubble wrap, cardboard inserts taped over that and wrapped in bubble wrap a second time, with cardboard inserts taped over that. The interior of the box will be filled in such a way so that there is no rattling around by the packaged record. Rest assured that 78 RPM records will be insured not only for the purchase price but also for the shipping/handling price as well--complete insurance for peace of mind.
