Welcome to another Auction from PLAN 9 and RECORD FINDERS!

Bidders outside the US, take note: We DO NOT devalue items for the sake of avoiding customs fees for your respective countries. This fee should be taken into consideration BEFORE you bid on our items!

Up for bid is a rare 7" EP, "....For Your Dance Party! Rock With Bill Haley and The Comets." This was released by Essex (EP-118) in 1954. This is an original press. See the following link for details on each release: http://rockaroundtheclock.catchforum.co.uk/t21-discographie-78-t-singles-ep-maxi. (Just scroll down to "1954" until you see the picture of the sleeve). Condition of EP and sleeve are as follows:

EP-118 - 7" is a solid VG+. EP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. There are a couple of tiny faint scuffs on either side. EP plays with light surface noise - crackle and tics (some of which should be removed with a professional cleaning). There is a small pressing defect -there is a bubble in the vinyl on side B about 1/2 the way through the song "Juke Box Cannon Ball." There is a very tiny scratch on the outro of the second song on side A, "I'll Be True." This produces several tics in a row (no skips). Interior labels are extremely clean. Etched matrix info reads ESP 118A / ESP 118B. Cardboard picture sleeve is a solid VG+, with no split seams. Color on the front remains bright and the front retains a nice gloss. There are a few small spots of discoloration on the front and back (see pictures). The front artwork for the jacket seems to be originally glued on upside down. You usually rotate a picture sleeve from the left to the right to see the info on the back of the jacket right side up. This jacket you have to flip over (from top to bottom) to see the back info right side up.
