Description
Original 1955 Bill Haley & His Comets "Shake, Rattle and Roll" 10-inch LP on Decca Records (DL 5560), an early and increasingly scarce rock and roll release featuring "Shake, Rattle and Roll," "Rock Around the Clock," "Thirteen Women," "Dim, Dim the Lights," and more. This appears to be an original U.S. pressing with black Decca labels. The record retains good overall gloss but grades Good (G) due to moderate surface noise throughout playback, some crackling, and a skip on Side 1, Track 1. The jacket grades Very Good (VG), remaining structurally solid with bright original artwork and tight seams, but has tape reinforcement in two areas, a small amount of writing on the covers, a vintage record store stamp on the back, and typical age-related wear and toning. A desirable early Bill Haley LP that presents well and would make an excellent addition to a collection of foundational rock and roll records.
