Description

An original 1st press of RnR Stage Show. Matrix 2B/2B - 1st cut. Stampers 1U/1M - one of the very 1st copies to enter the market place. Tax Code "RT" = 1956 . The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with scalloped flips and date to autumn 1956. There's also the original inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) Very well preserved and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or nasty looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback a couple of deviations per side. Lovey quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with great clarity. A great player throughout. Great vibrant audio - and from '56 - that is no mean feat. A bit of light background in one track on side 1. A couple of ticks in three isolated spots per side. Generally speaking - a bit of a cracker.
Cover (Vg+) In great condition with very well preserved surfaces. Minimal edge wear and looks smart. A one inch tear at bottom opening has been tape repaired. The rear has avoided most of the typical ageing. Damage to bottom left flipback - but it is secure.  Firm openings.  Overall the cover retains verygood rigidity.
Inner (Ex-)  No ageing. Slightest bottom edge split.
