Description
Up for auction is an original deep groove mono pressing of the Bill Russo 'Jazz Composers Workshop' LP on Savoy Records MG 12045. The other musicians include Shorty Rodgers, Shelley Manne, Jimmy Giuffre, Conte Candoli, and a cast of many others.
Record info:
Solid VG+ with a few minor scuffs and surface noise. It still sounds and plays great!
Cover info:
VG with solid seams except for a 1/4" seam split on top at jacket opening. The cover has pronounced dishing from previous improper storage and moderate creasing on one corner. The back cover has a sticker with the name of the previous owner on top left and an artwork tear on the edge of the all white area on the right side (see photo).
Label / Pressing info:
Original deep groove mono press with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
