Description

Still Bill is the second studio album by the American soul singer songwriter and producer. It was released in 1972 on the Sussex Records label. The album was produced and recorded by Withers with members of The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band. Still Bill is highly regarded by music critics as a highlight of the singers career and seminal classic of 1970’s R&B. The two singles from the album “Lean On Me” (#1 on Hot 100 Singles and R&B Singles) and “ Use Me” ( #2 on Hot 100 and R&B Singles Charts) were huge commercial and critical successes. The album was certified Gold by RIAA in 1972. Still Bill is a stalwart of many critics and is among Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums All-Time.
