Description

Bill “the Fox” Foster Songs Banned In Boston RARE 1977 LP “Adults Only” VG/VG+

For auction is a very good listeners copy of Songs Banned In Boston by American comedian and musician, Bill “the Fox” Foster. It’s a collection of drinking songs he performed at his tavern, The Fox Inn, in Santa Monica, California. Foster ran the Inn from 1961 till it closed in 1989. Nightly he would lead the patrons in song and accept any challenge chugging beer. He would also tour colleges and appeared on TV on such classics as “Taxi” and “The Jefferson’s” as well as the Jimmy Kimmel hosted, “The Man Show”. This album was only released in 1977 and is a rare novelty that is hard to find.

Vinyl is play graded VG. There are a few very light visible surface marks. Plays with mild background noise at times that is never overwhelming. No skips or jumps. Please see pics.

Cover is in VG+ condition. Barely noticeable shelf wear on corners and seams but no splits. Title is perfectly legible. Light stain on lower right corner of front. On the back the paste on cover is folded on upper left side. Please see pics.

Good luck bidding and thank you for looking!!
