Description

Billie Holiday 3 LP BOX SET COLUMBIA C3L 21 "The Golden Years" ORIGINAL USA 2 LP Box Set from 1962.  ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING / DJ PROMOTIONAL LABELS.

The box is VG+ (above average) with light shelf wear. Worn corners. Small stickers. No writing. Tape on corners to control box corner split. Box still stiff = no crushing. Inside the top cover (which is still attached to the bottom) is stamped Demonstration - Not For Sale"

The records are near mint with no wear. Excellent gloss and shine. Deep Groove Pressings. Slight writing on the labels correcting record numbers.

Stampers: Side 1/2 = 1B / 1C

                 Side 3/4 = 1C / 1A

                 Side 5/6 = 1B / 1A

All labels are "Demonstration Record - Not For Sale" labels.

Very hard to find this pressing as a promotional copy. Hard enough to find it on the 6 EYE label which was only issued to July of 1962. This is a 1962 release so not many pressed.
