Up for auction is a very old and rare 78RPM 4 record box set of Bilie Holiday recordings. This is a very, very old set on Columbia records. The set number is c-135, volume 1 of Billie Holiday Classics. This is album number 17 in a series or re-issues of the original recordings that made Jazz history. The original recordings were made in the 30's and 40's judging by the original recording dates on each record. Truly a collectors item and the condition of these records are good to very good with a few minor scrathes on a couple of the records. This set has a low starting price and no reserve however...there is NO RETURN on item! This set is sold as is only. The cardboard binder is in very good condition and is not falling apart at the binding.

Considering how old these records are, the condition is pretty good. I have not played them because I do not have a 78 speed on my turntable. The bottom edge of the holder is a litle worn but nothing major. I must tell you there is a litle musty smell to it as it has been in a cellar for a long time.
