RARE from Billie’s second recording session ever. Note that Billie’s name is misspelled as Billie Halliday - this of course was before she was a well known artist.

An all star line up! Columbia.2867 recorded in 1933. Record is in E condition.
Billie was the premiere song stylist of the jazz/ swing era in the 1930s-40s-50s. She recorded under her own name and with bands as varied as Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Paul Whiteman, Count Basie, Teddy Wilson, etc.She set the style for jazz singing- an influence still felt today, and was influenced herself by the great Louis Armstrong.
