Description
This is Commodore Records FL20,006, Billie Holiday Volume Two, a red labeled, mono, original 10" Lp issue of these classic cuts including Strange Fruit and Fine And Mellow. The record is is VG(+) condition with many scratches on both sides. It plays with background noise evident, but there are no skips and no distortion of the music. The beautiful cover has a 5" split on the top seam and a 2" split on the bottom, initials in pen on the top right and some bumps on the corners. The labels are excellent and intact. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn SondekLP12. This would make a wonderful initial "play" copy of this extremely rare original.
