Billie Holiday Rare OZ 10" LP At Jazz at the Philharmonic VG+ '55 Clef MGS169
Rare Original 1st Press OZ 10" LP released in 1955 on the Deep Groove Clef label with trumpeter. Cat: MG-C-169. This album is in MONO. Features the artwork of legendary jazz album cover artist David Stone Martin.
The quintessential jazz singer, whose reedy voice and laconic style accentuated the intensity of emotion in her performances.
Tracks : Body and soul/ Strange fruit/ Travelin' light/ He's funny that way/ The man I love/ Gee baby ain't I good to you/ All of me/ Billie's blues.
There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts and some light pops, there are a few light clicks during track one side two, record is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover with back flaps has some ringw ear and marks and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
