From a lovely Washington, D.C. estate, we are offering a rare 10" vinyl LP titled "Billie Holiday Sings" released in 1953 by Clef Records. This classic album features the legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday, showcasing her exceptional vocal talent in the genre of jazz and blues.
Accompanying Lady Day on these tracks are Flip Phillips (sax), Charlie Shavers (trpt), Oscar Peterson (p), Ray Brown (b), Barney Kessell (guit), and Alvin Stoller (dr).
The record is in gorgeous condition (EX) with no visual flaws or blemishes, and comes in a cardboard sleeve that would grade Excellent were it not for the fact that the original owner ink-stamped his name and street address on the front. The album was handled and stored under ideal conditions and played sparingly, as evidenced by the absence of shelf wear or spindle trail marks and the beautiful seams.
