You are bidding on the rare 78rpm album set:
Billie Holiday vol. 1- a hot jazz classic set, released by Columbia (C-135) in 1947. Made in the U.S.
*Here you have a marvelous set from 1947, presenting six of Billie's finest sides, as well as two previously unreleased gems!*
*Each record is visually-graded, conservatively, under a very bright light.*
1) Billie Holiday- Until The Real Thing Comes Along / I Cover The Water Front (C 135-1/2) (37493) (32408/31003). Previously unissued.
-grade: V+ (VG+) (showing a very rich luster and very light wear)
2) Billie Holiday- I Can't Get Started / When A Woman Loves A Man (C 135-3/4) (37494) (23468/2284).
-grade: V+ (VG+) (showing a very rich luster and very light wear)
3) Billie Holiday- He's Funny That Way / A Sailboat In The Moonlight (C 135-5/6) (37495) (21689/250).
-grade: V+ (VG+) (showing a very rich luster and very light wear)
4) Billie Holiday- Summertime / Billie's Blues (C 135-7/8) (37496) (19537/8).
-grade: V+ (VG+) (showing a very rich luster and very light wear)
The Cover (Album Book) is graded in VG- condition, showing a significant amount of spine & edge wear (see photos below). There is also some significant wear along the edges of the interior liner notes. Otherwise, the cover is in fairly nice condition. The inner seams are fully intact, and it has maintained much of its beautiful, original color.
