Description
Billy Cobham - Crosswinds - ULTRA RARE VG+ 1974 Mislabelled LP - Atlantic K 50037
Important Note: This issue has been mislabeled (side one is side two), also the side one details overprint are misplaced. (See notes below for correct running order of tracks.)
At that time in the ’70s, labels were produced in two stages for each side. The base print stage included the background Green and Orange, the Atlantic logo, the words ’STEREO’, the legal text in a half circle around the outer edge of the Orange section and the side identification word ‘ONE’ or ‘TWO’.
Stage two was the overprinting in black of relevant information to the individual side, including the album title, track tiles, artist name, release references (catalogue number etc) country of manufacture and any specific production or copyright details.
