Description

Billy Eckstine "Blues for Sale" 1954 EmArcy MG 26025 mono 10".  This version of a really fun record is hard to find. As of this listing, I cannot find another one on eBay or Amazon, and Discogs has only one, for a much higher price.  Sleeve is near perfect, with only a light washout of the color on the front left (see photos).  Vinyl is mixed.  The A side is near perfect and the audio has the kind of clarity that reminds us of why we love vinyl.  The B side has a visual dull fogginess to it, and to my ear the playback is noticeably less vibrant, even though it's still quiet.  This is Eckstine at his best, belting out nifty blues licks with charm that draws you in.  Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system.  I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
