Description

An original 1st Press of FURY from 1960. This looks like a collection of the original singles from '59/'60. Matrix 1A/1A - 1st cut. Stampers 1U/1K - excellent audio provenance [one of the 1st copies]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1960 cover with exposed flipbacks. We also have the original Decca inner sleevve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light mark per side - nothing remotely troublesome. If great audio is your bag then take a close look at this one. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. If you're looking for genuine 1960 clean audio - you came a knockin' at the right door. This is a bit of a belter... Given the vintage it is ridiculously well preserved. You can kind of tell the copy is close onto those original masters. The audio just has so much warm and presence. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side - that's all. It's a top performer! Audio A+
Cover (Vg+) In nice condition, but not quite up to the standard of the vinyl. Clean and flat front cover without much creasing. It is exhibiting a touch of ageing slightly more noticeable at the opening. The rear has tanned a bit which would be difficult to avoid given the passage of time. All flipbacks are very nice and secure and intact. Minimal edge wear and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit tanned. Bag present. No splits.
