Here is a VERY RARE great funk record by the late great Billy Guy released as by Billy Guy & The Coasters. He is best known as one of the lead singers of The Coasters (the first vocal group inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame). His great comedic and funky vocal style helped The Coasters create hits such as "Searchin'," "Little Egypt," "Poison Ivy," "Yakety Yak," "Run Red Run," "Charlie Brown," "D. W. Washburn," "Along Came Jones," and others. He wrote and released a number of great solo records in the 1960's and 1970's as well as producing records for other artists. He also released a comedy album from his standup act in 1972.
This record was produced by Billy Guy and H. B. Barnum. Both sides of this record were co-written by Billy Guy.
