Description

Billy Joel!!  "While The Night Is Still Young" Acetate Record!!  One Of A Kind!!
This original acetate record is an extremely rare item and a must for any die-hard Billy Joel collector.  This is a truly one-of-a-kind item:  it is a master acetate for an unreleased Billy Joel single featuring the songs "The Night Is Still Young" (here titled "While The Night Is Still Young") and "Summer, Highland Falls".  This is a 12" record that plays at 45 RPM.  The record was made at Sterling Sound Studios, who currently handle most of the remastering of Billy Joel's catalogue.  The labels on the acetate feature the studio's name, as well as its original adress.  (It has since moved.)  The labels also feature the track titles and lengths and the date of the mastering (9/10/85).  The acetate comes in a record sleeve and is housed in the original white cardboard box from Sterling Sound.  The box shows some light wear and creasing, and the factory wrote "Joel - Single" on the box's spine in blue ink.  The record itself is in excellent condition.  You will not find this rare item ANYWHERE else, eBay or otherwise!  This is a unique piece of Billy Joel history, with a low starting bid, so get it while you can!
