Description
This item is a white label promotional album released to radio stations in 1977 on Columbia Records by Billy Joel entitled ‘The Stranger’. Promo record label and number is Columbia Records JC 34987. Promo record itself is in excellent condition with just some light rub marks on the vinyl that were probably made from taking the record in and out of the paper inner sleeve. White promo labels are clean with no DJ markings or spindle wear (see photos). Both sides of the record have ‘MASTERDISK’ and ‘RL’ stamped in the run off area of the record. Record cover is in VG+ condition with some ringwear and some wear at three of the corners (see photos). Record cover has a white time strip affixed to the front of the cover and a promo stamp on the back of the cover. Promo record comes complete with its original photo / song lyric paper inner sleeve.
