VG - A few light surface marks but nothing likely to skip or jump.
G - lots of surface marks but nothing likely to skip or jump.
Fair - lots of surface marks some likely to skip or jump.
Poor - lots of surface marks some that will certainly skip or jump.

G - Average wear to spine edges and corners. Could have repairable damage such as sticker marks and/or split seams
Fair - heavy wear to spine edges and corners. Could have in damage such as scuff marks, small tears and or creases.
Poor - heavy wear to spine edges and corners. Could have large rips or be torn have been written on or damage from stickers and/or split seams.
