Description

Beautiful copy of Billy Preston's 1970 Apple Records LP "Encouraging Words".  Signed in silver sharpie on the cover's left side.  Great signature that I personally obtained at Preston's last-ever BeatleFest in Chicago. The LP appears to have never been played and the cover is near mint with only minor spine wear to the top (see photo) and a very small indention to the front cover not affecting the signature.   This is Preston's second album for Apple and features his cover's of George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" and The Beatles' "I've Got a Feeling".  Harrison co-produced the LP as well.  It's the more rare of Preston's Apple efforts.   Only thing to note is a very minor smear to the top of the "B" in his autograph that occurred as he picked the album up to hand back after he signed it.  He even apologized for putting his thumb there before the ink was completely dry?
