Two fantastic sides, with some nasty grooves, vocals, and playing on this double sided floor filler, from  BILLY ROBINSON AND THE BURNERS,  released on Crazy Horse Records #1305, an original 45 RPM 7" US release, pressed and released in 1968,   titled : SHUCKS YOU LEFT THE FIRE BURNING, great Northern Soul foot enticer -c/w- I AM A LONELY BLACK BOY, the surprise flip that's loaded with everything a wild soul groover should have and then some, both sides written by Apaka & Aleong. Produced by Fortune Cookie Productions by Aki Aleong.

CONDITION :
The single is in Very Good to Excellent  Condition,  bright,  shiny, clean, light surface scratches, surface marks, some in the groove under the music sounds, both sides playing loud, clear, and present. Wow, this is a great one.
The label is in Excellent or better Condition with hand writing on both sides - Shucks side states R&B Med, and, Lonely Black Boy side states R&B Med 10/20/68..

The Gradings System is:
Mint Condition. Mint- Condition, Near Mint Condition, Excellent Condition, Very Good Condition, Good Condition. Fair Condition.
It is rare when I state a record being Mint although there are certain instances where they will be noted as 'Mint- or better' and sometimes 'in-between Mint- up to Mint'.
Also, I usually don't list Fair Condition records except in a very unusual circumstance, essentially for its' collectible interest.
Records may be graded visually. Surface distractions are noted on visual gradings and groove distractions on listed gradings.

Surface Scratches, if mentioned, are light on top of the grooves somewhat akin to surface scuffs/surface marks.
Light Scratches are on or just into the surface, not causing skips, may have some extraneous sounds from scratches.
Into the Groove Scratches, when mentioned, may be just into /at  the groove, but essentially not affecting play, no skipping, may cause some sounds/ticks, possible in the groove sounds, which will be noted.

A note of interest about vintage record pressings in general. Many of the records offered are from 30 to 50 years old. They are are not digital downloads.
Sometimes they come with their own inherent pressing oddities, slight sounds, and to the modern ear, possible "slight flaws" - which are not really flaws, but part of the pressing process of older, real vinyl / wax / plastic records. In some instances, just plain age can cause some slight noises in a record.
Some pressings of small labels from the 1950's and 1960's and some instances 70's pressings were made with not the greatest of ingredients,  and with these lower grade or inferior ingredients causing some under the music groove sound - this generally happened with small label pressings, yet the music is clear, loud, and present. Also, at times, these smaller label pressings were pressed at cheapie pressing plants or at a big plant,  but on the sly late at night without the quality control of the normal commissioned pressing,  There may also be slight tape hissing audible which is part of the recording/pressing.
